Struggling Super Eagles handler Jose Peseiro is attracting attention from Egyptian giants Zamalek, much to the delight of Nigerians.
Under-fire Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro is reportedly attracting concrete interest from Egyptian giants Zamalek who are in search of a new coach.
Zamalek dismissed Colombian tactician, Juan Carlos Osorio following a run of bad results and are now considering a ist of candidates to replace him which includes Peseiro.
A source close to Zamalek Football Club revealed, ""Jose Peseiro is among the names already nominated to lead Zamalek."
Jose Peseiro linked to Zamalek job
It is unclear whether the reports are true or not but what is quite clear is the fact that Nigerians want to get rid of the Portuguese manager by any means.
Peseiro recently led Nigeria to two disappointing draws against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, leading to widespread calls for him to be sacked.
But with the NFF claiming they cannot afford to sack the manager because of his high wages, a move to Zamalek could potentially solve that problem.
Nigerians on social media have used the links to encourage Peseiro to leave his current role as Super Eagles head coach.
