Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea last season from Shakhtar Donetsk and was expected to add more quality to the team's performance offensively. The Ukrainian International had great qualities of an attacking player as he dazzled past defenses through his great pace, brilliant dribbling skills, and decent finishing in front of goal. This unique quality he possessed got the attention of Chelsea which pushed them into signing him from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Well, the Mykhailo Mudryk we see now on the pitch of play for Chelsea is totally different from the pure baller we saw at Shakhtar Donetsk. The 22-year-old struggles to contribute much to the team's performance in matches which is very disappointing. In a total of 33 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions, Mykhailo Mudryk scored only two goals and provided four assists for the team. This present performance from Mykhailo Mudryk is clearly the opposite of what fans and the club expected from him when he was signed.
Well, I have concluded that Chelsea should consider loaning him out in January since he is presently offering nothing significant to the team's performance. I believe it will be better if Mykhailo Mudryk goes to another club where he will be less pressured to deliver good performances on the pitch of play. This could help him regain his form and make a possible return to the Chelsea team in the future just like what Conor Gallagher did.
