The former Big Brother Naija reality show contestant, Uriel Anita Ngozi Oputa has taken to her Instagram page to tackle those saying Ilebaye Won out of pity.
Yesterday, Ilebaye Precious Odiniya was declared winner of the season 8 Big Brother Naija all stars contest and there has been a buzz on social media after the winner was announced.
Uriel saw how people were saying Ilebaye Won out of pity, she took to her Instagram story tackled them and said I'm sorry to say this "allow the girl to breathe", can we just let this narrative go, that Ilebaye Won out of pity, let me ask you, is there a remedy or is there a type of way to win a game show.
In a voice video, Uriel said, some people win by forming ships, some people win because they are looked upon as being powerful, some people win because certain things where done to them and they reacted, does it really matter how a person won a game? It is a game, she said.
She has asked those dragging Ilebaye to let her be, that when she is settled, they will make sure she is good.
