Brother of Enugu gadget store owner shot by robbers offers ₦3m reward for information

The brother of the owner of a gadget store at Cozeyz Plaza, Onuato, Enugu State-who was shot during a robbery-has offered a ₦3 million reward to anyone who can provide useful information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

This comes after CCTV footage captured the face of one of the robbers involved.

The development was made public via a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the victim's twin brother, identified as @Gblackintel, raised the alarm and called for help.

He wrote:

"My twin brother was shot today in broad daylight by armed robbers at his shop along Presidential Road, Enugu. He is now fighting for his life in the hospital. The robbers were opening fire openly and operated unchallenged."

In a later update, he added:

"To God be the glory, he's recovering and I was able to speak with him this morning. The city no longer feels safe. These robbers operated boldly, shooting sporadically and spending time in a busy area without challenge."

Shortly after the post, CCTV footage of the incident surfaced online, revealing the face of one of the robbers.

In response, @Gblackintel urged the public to assist in identifying the suspects and announced a ₦3 million reward.

"Please help find this guy. ₦3m for anyone that can find this guy or any of them," he wrote.

The incident has sparked growing concerns about security in Enugu, especially in commercial areas like Cozeyz Plaza.
