Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has voiced his frustration with President Bola Tinubu, stating that he is fed up with the administration.
Speaking in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Amaechi lamented the soaring cost of living and admitted that even he was struggling financially under Tinubu's leadership.
Now a prominent figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, Amaechi was welcomed back to Rivers State by a crowd of supporters. During his address, he expressed concern over the hardships Nigerians are facing, revealing that some wealthy individuals now spend as much as N4 million monthly on fuel alone.
He questioned how ordinary citizens were managing to survive and blamed President Tinubu for worsening the living conditions in the country.
He said
"If you are not tired of President Tinubu, I am tired. If you are not hungry, I am hungry.
"If rich men are spending N4 million a month on fuel, only God knows how the poor are surviving.
"The President says he is not here to make you happy. The ADC is here to make you happy."
