Arsenal have activated their options to replace midfielder Thomas Partey at the club.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Partey is set to leave Arsenal as a free agent.
Romano added that the Gunners have started discussions with Brentford captain Christian Norgaard to join the Premier League North London club.
In a tweet via his X account, Romano tweeted on Wednesday:
"Thomas Partey, set to Arsenal as free agent at the end of the month - story from last week confirmed.
"#AFC have already activated options to replace Thomas with Nørgaard talks ongoing with Brentford."
Partey's contract with Arsenal will expire this summer and the Ghanaian international is yet to agree a new deal with the Gunners.
The midfielder has been linked with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in recent weeks.
