Man United have a number of players whose deals are up at the end of June.
Manchester United have already confirmed three players will leave the club this month but more could follow them out of the Old Trafford exit door.
Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen will all officially be out of contract at United on June 30. The trio made their final competitive appearances for the Reds when they beat Aston Villa 2-0 on the final day of the Premier League season just over a fortnight ago. Eriksen marked the occasion by scoring a second-half penalty.
Eriksen joined United on a free transfer in July 2022 and made 107 appearances, scoring eight goals in the process. Lindelof made 284 appearances for United after arriving from Benfica in 2017.
Meanwhile, Evans made 241 appearances for United across two stints at the club. He returned to M16 for a second spell in September 2023 and made 43 appearances.
Another player who is out of contract this month is Tom Heaton. However, as reported by the Manchester Evening News, Heaton could sign a one-year contract extension.
Despite not playing for United since February 2023, and only making three appearances since returning to the club for a second spell in 2021, Heaton is open to signing a new deal at Old Trafford. If he commits his future to the club, he will be 40 by the time his new deal expires.
Elsewhere, youngsters Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray and James Nolan are also set to be released when their contracts expire. It is understood they will all depart after not being offered fresh deals.
Kingdon and Nolan spent time away from Old Trafford on loan last season, enjoying spells at Rochdale and Inverness Caledonian Thistle respectively.
