Gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi, who is on trial for the alleged murder of his 24-year-old girlfriend, Salome Adaidu, was seen in court this morning praying.
The hearing resumed today as part of the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding Salome's death.
Timilehin was arrested on January 12 in connection with the killing of Salome, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving at Nicon Insurance in Abuja.
She was reportedly murdered during a visit to Timilehin's residence in the Papalana area of New Karshi, Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
Authorities apprehended him while he was allegedly attempting to dispose of her dismembered body. During questioning, he reportedly expressed no remorse, accusing Salome of repeatedly being unfaithful.
However, a recent video captures him apparently in prayers while at the court.
