Ghana have not called up Thomas Partey for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Arsenal midfielder is currently injured and will remain with the Premier League side to continue his rehabilitation.
This was confirmed by the head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Houghton.
"Arsenal will treat this injury with caution, and so will the player [Partey].
"This is a big injury for him, the biggest injury he's had.
"From all the information we've been given, the timelines of his recovery and the caution that will be taken, [his recovery] will not meet our timelines for the AFCON," he said.
Ghana is in Group E alongside Madagascar, Angola and Central Africa Republic.
