World football governing body, FIFA, has celebrated Chiamaka Nnadozie's heroics in her club Paris FC's win against Real Madrid.
Nnadozie inspired Paris FC to their first win in this season's women's UEFA Champions League as they beat Madrid 2-1 in Group D on Thursday night.
The highlight of the game was the Super Falcons' first choice stopping a 28th-minute penalty taken by Spain's 2023 women's World Cup winner Olga Carmona.
Reacting to her performance, FIFA posted a photo of Nnadozie on their women's World Cup X handle and wrote: "Safe hands, for country ๐๐๐ club. ๐งค๐ณ๐ฌ."
The win against Madrid means Paris FC are third on three points after three games played.
Madrid are bottom with just one point also from the same number of games.
Hacken, who have seven points, top the group and Chelsea are second with five points.
On Monday, Nnadozie was crowned 2023 CAF Women's Goalkeeper of the Year in Marrakech, Morocco.
Her Super Falcons teammate, Asisat Oshoala, won a record-extending sixth CAF Women's Player of the Year award.
The star of the night at the award was Victor Osimhen, who became the first Super Eagles player since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999, to be named CAF Player of the Year.
