Sony's Spider-Man films have given us a little taste of everything, from parasitic mayhem in Venomto the animated brilliance of the Spider-Verse series to whatever Morbius was supposed to be. Now, clairvoyance enters the ring in Madame Web.
The first trailer for this standalone origin story introduces us to Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson), a paramedic who may have clairvoyant powers. As she tries to understand her newfound abilities and a troubling past, she'll cross paths with three young women (Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, and Isabela Merced), all of whom are destined for Spidey-powered futures. But with the deadly Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim) hot on all their paths, Cassie and this trio will have to team up and fight to survive their present.
Madame Web hits theaters Feb. 14.
