According to Man City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, he said that he never wanted to be part of the corruption and that's why he didn't go to the Ballon d'Or podium.
Kevin De said this when he was asked recently about his absence from the Ballon d'Or ceremony which was held in France few days ago, and he has referred to it as total corruption.
As reported by Sky Sports, Kevin De Bruyne said; "This award has become a joke, they leak the name of the winner a week ago. If the award were fair, the Haaland would have won it.
"He did everything he could have done, still he lost. I didn't want to be part of the corruption, that's why I didn't go to the Ballon d'Or podium."
