A woman identified as Obot Udo Ekpo was flogged mercilessly by youth leaders after she was accused of stealing three bunches of plantain in Okon Eket village in Akwa Ibom State.
It was gathered that the suspect was caught red handed on Monday morning, October 16, 2023.

The suspect who hails from Ikot Akpandem in Okon Eket, has been handed over to the police at Uqua Division by the village Youth President, Akparawa Uyai Udo Jacob for investigation and prosecution.
