The 40-year-old achieved the feat after scoring a bicycle kick in stoppage-time to earn a point for AC Milan against Udinese as both teams played 1-1 draw in a Serie A tie.

The Swedish star became just the third football player in the 21st century to score 300 goals across Europe's top five leagues.

Ibrahimovic has scored 404 league goals in total in his career so far, including 16 for Malmo, 35 for Ajax and 53 for MLS side LA Galaxy.

Those across Europe's top five leagues - England's Premier League, Spain's La Liga, Germany's Bundesliga, Italy's Serie A, and France's Ligue 1 - now total 300.

However, Ibrahimovic is way behind the goalscoring exploits of Ronaldo and Messi, who have scored 483 and 475 league goals, respectively.

Ibrahimovic, who is in his second spell at AC Milan, has also played for Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Manchester United and PSG in his long and illustrious career.
