Top African star linked to Arsenal finally opens up to his friends about his final decision

Thomas Partey has finally made a decision on whether to leave Atletico Madrid for Arsenal in the summer, reports claim.

The Ghanaian midfielder has been linked to the emirates in the past few weeks as Mikel Arteta looks to inject more experienced players into his midfield in the summer.

And a release clause of £43million is currently on the 26-year-old's contract which would be doubtful for Arsenal who currently have a tight budget for the summer due to the pandemic.

But the Atletico star is bent on joining the Gunners with the hope that the Spanish side and the north London club could strike a deal.

According to the Telegraph, Partey has told his friends he wants a move to the Emirates to prove his worth in the Premier League.

The Telegraph also claim Arsenal and Atletico may consider a swap deal with forward Alexandre Lacazette if a deal can not be reached for Partey.

The defensive midfielder has played 24 games in La Liga and eight Champions League matches under Diego Simeone this season.
