Why it's hard to find decent men in Nigeria - Uriel Oputa

Uriel Oputa lamented that the country is now filled with a lot of extremely pretty women in their mid 30s to early 40s who are still single.

She noted that decent men are hard to find because they harbour this belief that there is always something better out there.

Her words in part ...

"You'll see a woman in Nigeria now, she's 35, some of them are even 40, 41. They're still single - fine fine girls, but they're still single. Why? Ogini? It's hard to find a decent man in Nigeria and it boils down to what? We have a culture of 'there is always something better.' there's nothing better.

I love Don Jazzy. I know I will blow up but I feel like..he said something about not being able to stay with one woman..."

Netizens' reactions ...

@_OnosOnos said: "The reason they're single isn't lack of decent men, it's just that the men they want aren't enough to go round, which is why polygamy should come in"

@abazwhyllzz said: "Her definition of a decent man is a rich man,nobody wan marry broke and funny boys like me"

@tsetseSBM remarked: "Honestly,

What Uriel said is valid.
A lot of women in Nigeria are single not because they don't want love, but because it's hard to find emotionally mature, honest, and secure men. Nigerian men want submission, but they don't offer stability.
They want peace, yet they bring chaos.
You can't keep failing as a partner and still expect women to settle."
