It has emerged that Al Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, was responsible for Victor Boniface's failed move to the Saudi Pro League.
This was revealed by Nigerian broadcast journalist, Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba.
According to Buchi Laba, the club does not sign players except Ronaldo approves the transfer.
Al Nassr were linked to Boniface and Jhon Duran but ended up signing the Colombian striker.
Buchi Laba wrote on X:
"Let me give you small gist about Jhon Duran and why I'm surprised he's unhappy at Al Nassr.
"Al Nassr negotiated for him and Victor Boniface and at the end they put both names on the table for Cristiano Ronaldo to pick one. Ronaldo selected Duran.
"There's no signing that happens at Al Nassr without Ronaldo Approving. Even the Head Coach. He approves everything so why's Duran unhappy after not even close to one year."
