A fresh graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) broke down in tears after her iPhone 14 was stolen on her convocation day.
The heartbreaking moment was shared in a series of videos posted on popular social media platform, TikTok.
In the clips, the young lady recounted how her special day turned sour as she wept uncontrollably over the loss of her phone.
She explained that she had created several contents in excitement for her graduation, only for her phone to be stolen before she could even enter the convocation hall.
"So with all the convocation paparazzi I did, all the content, everything because I was super excited-only for my phone to actually be stolen today on the day of my convocation," she lamented.
"It feels like a dream, somebody should wake me up. I lost my iPhone 14, the phone I've used for two years. Someone stole it."
She added that her parents had travelled from Ibadan to celebrate with her, but her mood was ruined by the incident.
"I opened my bag and couldn't find my phone. I didn't even get to enter the hall. I've been crying since morning. I can't afford another phone-not even an Android. I don't know where to start from, I'm so sad," she said tearfully.
Ending her video, she placed a curse on whoever took the device: "The person that did this, you'll never know peace."
