A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to cry out for help after her ex-boyfriend allegedly threatened to kill her and willingly serve a jail term for it.
The disturbing report was shared via a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the lady attached an audio recording as evidence, alongside a photo showing the man's face.
In the audio, the man could be heard issuing multiple death threats. He said: "Because of you, I wan go jail. I go kill you. I swear to God who made me. If you doubt am, check am and see."
He further added:
"I go kill you, your family go lose you. If I go jail, I know how many years I go serve am. I go destroy you for yourself, then I go destroy you for your family. You go see the real me."
The audio also reportedly contained several other threats, which sparked fear and outrage among listeners.
As the post circulated online, many concerned individuals flooded the comment section to express shock and demand immediate intervention from authorities to protect the woman and bring the man to justice.
