Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen is among those Manchester United have watched should they look to replace Andre Onana this summer, according to The Telegraph.
Saudi clubs are showing some interest in the Red Devils star, and the Cameroonian's sale cannot be totally discounted following some underwhelming performances over the last two seasons.
Onana was dropped from the starting XI that faced Aston Villa yesterday amid the uncertainty surrounding his future, and Hermansen has been identified as a potential replacement despite getting relegated with the Foxes, with Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens also an option.
The 24-year-old made 103 saves in 27 Premier League appearances, and he is one the players Leicester could sell as he could fetch them a big fee.
Hermansen pulled off some 'spectacular' saves all season, showing his talent and agility in many games, and he could be perfect for Man United.
His performance in a 4-2 loss to Arsenal in September, when he made five world-class saves was one of the best performances from a goalie this season, and the Red Devils could have been left impressed.
A groin injury kept him out for a while during the season, and he struggled to reach the incredible form he showed earlier in the season upon his return, with his save rate dropping to 49% from the 69% he boasted before his six-week lay-off.
The Dane is excellent when it comes to reflexes, shot-stopping, saving penalties and saving from close range, and he could prove to be an upgrade on Onana.
The 29-year-old has committed eight errors leading to goals since joining the Red Devils from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, and a change in goal is needed if Man United want to challenge for major silverware next season and become a force to be reckoned with again going forward.
