Pakistan Says It Shot Down 12 Indian Drones as Tensions Rise

Pakistan's military said Thursday it shot down 12 drones from India, in a sign that hostilities between the two nuclear-armed neighbors continue to escalate.

The drones, dispatched in the early hours of Thursday, killed one civilian and injured four soldiers, Pakistan's military spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said at a news conference, while showing photos of the fallen drones.
