Recall that Verydarkman was arrested last Friday after he had gone to Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) to lodge a complaint with his mother.
Controversial Nigerian preacher, Oba Solomon has revealed why he's yet to call on the security agencies to release social media critic, Verydarkman.
Recall that Verydarkman was arrested last Friday after he had gone to Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) to lodge a complaint with his mother.
Speaking in a recent video, Oba Solomon said he's yet to react because he is waiting for an official statement from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) concerning the arrest.
"I cannot tell the government to release VDM until I know his offence. Nobody is above the law," he said.
Oba Solomon emphasised the importance of due process and discouraged hasty actions without factual information, particularly targeting those blaming GTBank for the arrest.
"Everybody should calm down and wait till Monday when the EFCC will release the official statement on why he was arrested. If they fail to do that, we can then swear for them," he added.
He concluded by noting that the government reserves the right to make arrests anywhere, adding that more facts are needed before forming conclusions.
