Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, was recently arrested, and his lawyer has released a statement regarding the arrest.
Recall that VDM had earlier come online to lament the illegal deduction from his mother's GTBank account and said he would be visiting one of their branches in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja.
VeryDarkman, on the fateful day of his arrest, posted that he was already at GTBank to make a complaint over the unnecessary deduction from his mother's account.
After some hours, VDM was declared missing by his younger brother, who later stated that some unknown men had arrested his brother.
VeryDarkMan was later said to have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.
Hours after the arrest, his lawyer, Mr Adeyanju David, released a statement on his social media handle with a caption. In the two-page letter, the lawyer explained what took place at the bank.
