Minimum Wage: FG moves proposal to N57,000

Labour leaders on Wednesday, said it is not yet Uhuru for Nigeria workers, as the Federal government sent in a fresh proposal of N57,000 as minimum Wage.

Wednesday's meeting of the 37 member Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage was attended by Governors Hope Uzodinma of Imo state and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.

Both Governors had arrived at about 5.35pm and were ushered into the meeting by Ekpo Nta, Chairman National Salaries Income and Wages Commission NSIWC.

Torizone gathered that Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State had joined through zoom.
