According to the Lagos State Police Command on its X handle on Saturday, men of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) raided the uncompleted buildings at the Otedola Bridge area, Olusosun and Kurata, all notorious for being criminal hideouts and arrested the 26 suspects. They also raided another building at MKO Garden, Ojota, where they rescued two robbery victims.

Many residents of the state have always complained about the activities of hoodlums and robbers who always hide inside uncompleted buildings and always attack people, especially during the night.

This has made the state government to carry out raids on some of the buildings, while some have been taken over by the government.

The command wrote: "After a thorough screening of the suspects by CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, 16 persons were released to their relatives, while 10 suspects are to be charged to court for prosecution."
