A Nigerian man has shared his opinion on mental health which has recently been used by the Gen Z population, calling it an excuse for bad behavior.
The man made his opinion public via a podcast, The Shade corner, with a group of his friends.
He is of the opinion that the word 'Mental health' has now become bastardized.
Most people use it to dodge accountability, propagate bad behavior and skip work.
However, a friend at the podcast disagreed with his opinion, claiming that although some people use it as a coverup, mental health is real and should be given attention to.
He related it to physical health while claiming that if one is sick physically, it takes a while for the illness to progress before death and that is how mental health illnesses like Depression work.
