A Nigerian man has expressed shock after discovering a secondary school based in Lagos that charges ₦8 million per term-amounting to ₦24 million per year-with an additional ₦2 million required as an application fee.
He shared his reaction in a video posted on his page via popular social media platforms X and TikTok.
In the video, which shows his face, he recounts stumbling upon the school's website and being stunned by the figures listed.
According to him, the school is a secondary institution, and beyond the staggering tuition, it also charges an extra ₦7 million for boarding.
"I'm looking at this secondary school. Their school fees is ₦24 million a year. If you're a boarding student, that's an additional ₦7 million. And if you want to apply, application fee is ₦2 million," he said.
