Doma United's Kingsley Osayi, an aspiring Super Eagles goalkeeper, has not conceded a single goal this season at home in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

A prospective goalkeeper for Nigeria's Super Eagles, Kingsley Osayi, is making waves after extending his excellent clean sheet record for NPFL side Doma United.

Osayi was in goal as United were held to a goalless draw by Bendel Insurance during a rescheduled match in the NPFL on Wednesday.

The talented shot-stopper, whose name is gaining serious prominence among NPFL followers and Nigerian football fans, was at his calm and collected best against Benin Arsenal.

In what was his sixth appearance of the season, despite the interesting encounter which saw the visitors register six attempts, Osayi remained impregnable.

After 90 minutes, both sides shared the spoils following a barren affair which saw the goalkeeper continue his impressive clean sheet streak at home.

With his recent showing and shut against Bendel Insurance, the youngster is yet to concede at home this season with Doma United in the NPFL.

He has kept four clean sheets in six matches this season in the NPFL and has also registered two assists.

Known for his reflexes, timing, and impressive composure on the ball and passing, Osayi has become one of the rising stars in the NPFL.

His performances this season have also seen his name come up as a possible solution to the goalkeeping dilemma in the Nigeria Super Eagles, with the extension of his clean sheet record serving as evidence of his consistency in between the posts.

Ahead of Nigeria's first round of matches in the FIFA WCQ, the Doma United star could be one of the players named in Jose Peseiro's highly-anticipated squad for the double-header against Lesotho and Zimbabwe later this month.

On the table, despite his brilliant, Doma United has only won two matches and drawn two of six matches so far to sit 12th on the NPFL with eight points from a possible 18.
