Report: Mo Salah has 'played in' his last Liverpool game, medical booked

According to reports, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will leave the club after playing his last game against Newcastle.

Mo Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool in recent weeks with Al-Ittihad declaring an interest in the Egyptian.

This summer, Liverpool has already sold two players to the Saudi Pro League. Both Jordan Henderson and Fabinho were permitted to leave Merseyside for huge sums of money.

As it stands they are close to losing another star player, with reports suggesting that the Egyptian would depart for medical and finalise a transfer to Al-Ittihad.

Salah's move imminent

According to Riyadiyatv, a sports broadcaster in Saudi Arabia, Salah will finalise a transfer to Al-Ittihad and leave Anfield before the transfer window closes.

It is reported that Salah has played his last game for Liverpool against Newcastle and will fly to Dubai to undergo a medical.

Al-Ittihad declared their interest in Salah last week and a deal now seems very close to being completed.

According to Sport Italia as reported by Express.co, Salah had informed Liverpool he would desire to move to the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Ittihad are claimed to have put an offer on the table of more than £79 million for the 31-year-old.

According to the reports, Al-Ittihad set a deadline of Monday to determine whether a deal for Salah was feasible. The likelihood that they will be successful in their pursuit is growing.

After arriving from Roma in 2017, the attacker has made 307 appearances and scored an astonishing 187 goals for the team.

Salah has been crucial to Jurgen Klopp's success, which includes winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
