The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs have been reminded of the licensing processes for the 2023/2024 season scheduled to kick off in September.
The process followed the provisions of licensing regulations for clubs.
This reminder is contained in a memo released by the NPFL head of operations, Davidson Owumi.
Owumi said registration for the new season will only be completed on provision of satisfactory evidence of compliance, particularly in cases of reported indebtedness to former and serving players and officials.
He warned that clubs with case(s) of indebtedness will not be permitted to register new player(s).
Owumi stressed that clubs that had cases adjudicated by the NFF Arbitration panel should approach the NPFL registration schedule officers with evidence of compliance and or letters of mutual consent settlements.
