Guardiola begs two Man City players not to leave club

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has urged two key players, Bernardo Silva and Kyle Walker, not to leave the club this summer transfer window amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, respectively.

Silva and Walker have been key figures for Guardiola's side during a remarkable run of success at the Etihad Stadium that culminated in a historic treble triumph last season.

Silva's contract with Man City will expire in 2025 and he has been linked with PSG.

Walker, on the other hand, has attracted interest from Bayern Munich after entering the final 12 months of his contract with the Citizens.

However, Guardiola is hoping to see both players extend their contracts with the club.

When quizzed on Silva, Walker's situations, Guardiola said according to Beanyman Sports: "It will be my dream [they extend their contracts], like Kyle Walker.

"Hopefully it happens. From the depth of my heart, from the bottom of my heart, I wish [it happens]."
