He remains suspended by the club as they conduct an internal investigation.

Greenwood was arrested in January 2022 after accusations of attempted rape and assault, but the charges against him were dropped in February 2023.

He has not yet returned to training with the club and it is thought that the earliest he could do so is at the start of next season.

The Sun report that Juventus have sounded out Greenwood's camp over a possible long-term loan deal.

His former teammate Paul Pogba is in their squad and it is hoped he could sway things for the Serie A side.

AC Milan and Roma are also said to be interested as well as clubs in Turkey.

The Red Devils are said to be weighing up whether or not to bring the youngster back into the first team fold.

It was reported that he could be forced to conduct a TV interview and undergo therapy before making a return.

However, fan groups, sponsors and the women's team would be consulted before a decision was made.

Players from the women's team have said that they would be 'unhappy' to see Greenwood return.

Although it has been reported that the forward does not expect to play for the Red Devils again.
