Nigerian music executive, Tunji Balogun, better known as Teebillz, has taken to social media to celebrate veteran Nigerian singer D'banj.
Sharing a photo of the singer on his Instagram page, Teebillz attributed the success and global acceptance of Afrobeats to him.
According to Teebillz, D'banj is the reason people believed in Afrobeats, and they claim he solidified it internationally for the world to pay attention to.
He said D'banj made many Nigerians in diaspora, including himself, return to Nigeria and also gave hope to kids from the ghetto.
