EPL: Ronaldo still not training with Man Utd after 'snubbing' 4-1 defeat at Man City

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, did not train with the rest of the squad on Wednesday with an ongoing hip flexor problem.

The injury was given as the official reason for the 37-year-old missing the 4-1 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday.

Ronaldo is yet to take part in the main team sessions since then, making him a doubt for this weekend's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

SportsMail reports that the players who didn't feature at the Etihad were in at the training ground on Monday, although the Portugal captain was not among them.

Ronaldo returned to Carrington on Tuesday but did not train with the group, although he was the last to leave the training ground

The former Real Madrid forward first missed training on Friday, having reported the aforementioned hip flexor problem to the staff.

He later flew back to Portugal and was not at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to watch his teammates soundly beaten by their local rivals.
