Arsenal have launched a €75 million move to sign Sporting CP striker, Viktor Gyokeres.
Arsenal are in dire need of a goalscorer after playing the majority of the 2024-25 season with a natural striker.
Now, the Gunners are said to be ready to beat competitions from the other clubs and get the striker to the Emirates this summer.
Portuguese newspaper, Correio da Manha, reports that the Gunners have tabled €75 million for the player.
The striker is said to have a €100 million release clause.
Sporting president, Frederico Varandas said that any club interested in signing the player would have to activate the clause.
He said via Metro,
"A €100 million clause and whether it can be met depends on the player's current situation, age, and whether there is more than one club in the running.
"I've seen inferior players being transferred for over €100m, great players for under €100m. Sporting is happy to have Viktor and he is happy here."
In total, Gyokeres has netted 95 times in his last two seasons with the Portuguese side.
The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG are said to be interested in signing him.
