Man United boss Solskjaer finally opens up after dramatic Champions League over PSG

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United interim boss, has credited Ajax's historic victory over Real Madrid for his side's dramatic comeback against Paris Saint Germain.

The odds favoured the French League side to progress to the next round after winning the first leg 2-0 at Old Trafford in February.

But, two goals from Romelu Lukaku and one from Marcus Rashford ensured the Premier League side reach the last eight stage at the expense of their opponents.

The victory also saw the Red Devils become the first side in the history of the competition to progress after losing the first leg at home by two or more goals.

Speaking after the match, Solskjaer divulged Ajax Amsterdam's comeback against Real Madrid dominated his team talk before the Wednesday night, March 6, encounter.

"It's the Champions League. That's what it does. Real Madrid and Ajax - that was our team talk ," the Norwegian tactician disclosed.

"It was probably theirs [PSG] as well. Last year you had Real Madrid and Juventus that was close, the year before you had Paris against Barca. This is what we do at this club ," he added.
