Man United star set to sign new mega deal to wade off Real Madrid, Barcelona

Marcus Rashford is set to sign a six-year contract extension to his current deal at Old Trafford as his talks with Man United ended on a positive note.

United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is sure the England striker will sign a new deal that will potentially keep him at the club until 2025.

It is understood the 21-year-old will become one of the highest paid players at the club and his deal will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The Englishman had doubts about his future at the Theatre of Dreams under Jose Mourinho, after failing to make first team appearances on several matchdays.

However, the academy graduate has blossomed under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring eight goals in 15 matches under the Norwegian manager.

Reports claim that the Red Devils' aim of employing Solskjaer on temporary basis was to hand more opportunities to young talents like Rashford, Anthony Martial and Andreas Pereira.

Solskjaer has given more game time to all three stars with resulted in Martial signing a new five-year deal rumoured to be worth around £200,000 a week.

Pereira wants first-team action before putting pen in paper, but United will trigger a one-year extension to keep him at the club in the hope he can be persuaded to agree new terms.
