Premier League star emerges as £50m target for Tottenham and Man United

David Brooks who plays for Premier League side Bournemouth has reportedly emerged as a target for Tottenham who are preparing massive £50 million bid for the 21-year-old.

Last season, Spurs tried all they could to sign David Brooks, but the midfielder ended up joining Bournemouth for just £11.5 million.

And according to the latest report by Mirror UK, Spurs are ready to go back for the signing of Brooks, but they will face serious competition from Manchester United.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have been monitoring David Brooks since he took over at Manchester United and will go for him at the end of the season.

Born in Warrington, he qualified to play for Wales through his Welsh mother and despite representing England Under 20s, he finally opted to join then-manager Chris Coleman's Welsh squad.

David Brooks now has nine senior caps, and it's now not just Spurs who have noted his huge potential as clubs in Spain are also interested.

Meanwhile, David Brooks is currently injured and he will be out of action for Bournemouth for the next 1 month after sustaining an ankle injury against Chelsea.

Bournemouth are currently occupying 10th position on the Premier League standings with 33 points after 25 games played this season.
