Super Eagles of Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa has debunked fake news about gifting players cars after his appointment as Kano Pillars General Manager.
The Super Eagles captain denied claims that he had distributed cars to players and officials following his recent appointment.
Musa's appointment as General Manager was announced by Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The move was part of a broader restructuring and enhance performance in the upcoming Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
In his post, Musa urged the public, media outlets, and social media users to verify information from credible sources before sharing.
He said, "It has come to my attention that false information is being circulated claiming that I distributed cars to players and officials following my appointment as General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club.
"This claim is entirely untrue.
"I urge the public, media outlets, and individuals on social media to verify information from credible sources before sharing.
"Spreading unverified news not only misleads the public but also undermines the integrity of the club and its leadership.
"Our focus remains on building a strong, disciplined, and successful team. Thank you for your understanding and continued support."
The false narrative about car giveaways prompted the 32-year-old to issue a public statement to set the record straight.
It is expected that Musa could reunite with the Super Eagles fold under new manager Eric Chelle.
