Libyan Police Arrest Five Nigerians For Alleged Prost!tution

The raid was in response to public complaints about suspected prost!tution activities involving migrants in the area.

Libyan authorities have apprehended five Nigerian nationals-one man and four women, including a mother with her child-over alleged involvement in prost!tution-related activities.

According to a statement released on Wednesday by Migrant Rescue Watch, the arrests were made during a police operation in the Salmani area of Benghazi, carried out by the Ras Abidah Police Department.

The raid was in response to public complaints about suspected prost!tution activities involving migrants in the area.

The suspects were reportedly found in a house believed to have been used as a brothel by undocumented migrants.

The police apprehended all five individuals at the scene and have since transferred them to the Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) for further legal proceedings.
"Libya 20.06.25 - Ras Abidah Police Dept. in response to public complaints raided a house in Salmani area (Benghazi) used by #migrants for prost!tution. During op police arrested 1 male and 4 females (1 with child) of Nigerian nationality. All referred to DCIM for legal action."
