Nineteen secondary school students have been expelled after they allegedly snuck out of the school premises to swim in a river, resulting in the tragic drowning of one of their classmates.
The incident was revealed in a post shared on TikTok, where an individual speaking on behalf of the school confirmed the expulsion of the students due to their actions.
According to the post, a group of about 20 students left the school without permission to swim in a nearby river.
Unfortunately, one of them drowned during the outing and did not make it out alive.
In a video attached to the post, a woman-believed to be a school authority-was seen addressing the students. She informed them that they had all been dismissed but could be allowed to write their final exams under certain conditions.
The video has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many concerned individuals flooding the comment section to express their thoughts on the school's decision and the tragic loss of life.
