An individual identified as Inspector Ishaku, allegedly a police officer, has been caught in Makurdi, Benue State, for allegedly stealing electric cables.
The incident was revealed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user, @ChuksEricE.
According to the post, the suspect was confronted by members of the community and compelled to confess to the act.
In the video, the man-believed to be a police inspector-could be heard speaking about how long he has lived in the state, the location of his family, and other personal details.
Those who apprehended him bombarded him with questions to verify his identity and understand his motive.
