A corps member who visited Computer Village in Ikeja to purchase an iPhone was reportedly scammed and given fufu packaged to look like a phone instead of the real device.

The incident was shared in a series of posts on the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

The post includes a video showing the female corps member holding the fake phone package, visibly upset after realizing she had been deceived.

She had paid a specific amount for what she believed was a genuine mobile phone.

In the video, bystanders could be heard expressing shock and laughter over the bizarre scam.
