Super Eagles legend Mikel Obi has opened up on Victor Osimhen's future, highlighting the best destination for the Napoli man this summer.
John Obi Mikel is hopeful Victor Osimhen can secure a Premier League move this summer, with Arsenal and Manchester United as possible destinations.
Osimhen is due back at Napoli after a stellar loan at Galatasaray, where he scored an impressive 37 goals in 41 games. While the Turkish giants want him on a permanent deal, and growing interest from Al Hilal, Mikel insists Osimhen's heart is set on the Premier League.
Chelsea's interest has faded with Liam Delap's arrival from Ipswich, leaving Arsenal and United as Osimhen's best options.
Mikel opened up on the next destination for the Super Eagles striker saying,
"I don't think [Rasmus] Hojlund is the guy for Manchester United. He runs around and works hard but he is not the guy who will score goals, put them in the top four and win them trophies. So for me Manchester United might be the destination."
Mikel added, "I hope there is still a Premier League move for him this summer.
"I don't want to see Osimhen in Saudi right now because he still has so much to offer in Europe. It would be a shame to see him go there. So maybe Arsenal, United, Juventus and PSG too [are his options]. Let's see what happens."
