UNICAL nursing students protest as police arrest 3 nurses for allegedly stealing deceased patient's sim

Nursing students at the University of Calabar (UNICAL) have staged a protest following the arrest of three of their colleagues, who were allegedly accused of stealing the SIM card of a deceased patient.

The post included two videos showing the nursing students protesting within their campus.

According to the caption, the protesters blocked all entrances to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital in response to the arrest and detention of the three nurses by police.

The caption read:

"Nurses at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital have blocked all entrances to the facility in an ongoing protest following the arrest and detention of three of their colleagues by the police, who are accused of allegedly stealing the SIM card of a deceased patient."
