A Nigerian vendor has recounted a disturbing encounter with a customer who harassed her during a business conversation.
In a video shared on her TikTok page, the vendor explained that the man had contacted her to order a pair of boxers.
However, things took an unexpected turn when he demanded to see her face before proceeding with the order.
She said the man initially called her via WhatsApp video, but she declined as she typically doesn't take video calls from unknown customers.
Instead, she asked him to send a message.
He claimed to be in Port Harcourt and said he wanted to order a boxer, while she revealed she was based in Lagos and would ship the product once payment was made.
According to her, after some back and forth, the man insisted on seeing her face to be sure he wasn't being scammed.
Despite her initial hesitation, she eventually agreed due to his seemingly valid concern.
"I told him I don't usually do video calls, but since it's business and his reasons were valid, I allowed it," she said. "He called but didn't see my face clearly, so he said he wanted a proper view."
"I told him to hang up and call back. When he did, I first positioned the camera on my forehead, but he insisted he wanted to see my full face," she added. "The moment I showed my face, he lowered his camera to his private part and started stroking it."
She expressed her shock and disgust in the video, warning other vendors to be cautious during virtual interactions with strangers.
As the video circulated online, many social media users flooded the comment section to share their thoughts and condemn the man's inappropriate behavior.
