Yamal's father has confessed his support for Real Madrid.
Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, has openly admitted his allegiance to Real Madrid.
In an interview, Nasraoui revealed his long-standing support for Barcelona's fierce rivals.
However, he emphatically stated that his loyalty now lies firmly with the Catalan club due to the opportunities they have provided for his son and his family.
When questioned about his Real Madrid fandom, Nasraoui responded unequivocally, "Even if he was a Real Madrid fan, I don't give a damn! Barça is the one who feeds me."
Nasraoui also shared a heartwarming anecdote about his son's destiny from the moment he was born.
He continued, "When Lamine was born, the first second I held him, I told him you're going to be the best player in the world."
His comments come on the heels of Lamine Yamal's impressive performance in Barcelona's thrilling 3-2 victory over Real Madrid in Saturday's Copa del Rey final, where the young winger also contributed a goal to his team's triumph.
Despite his father's past allegiance, Yamal's present and future appear firmly rooted in the Blaugrana colors.
