Manchester United edged past Coventry City into the FA Cup final - but fans are apprehensive about what's to come.

The Red Devils were victors at Wembley after a dramatic semi-final clash. Goals from Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes had put them 3-0 ahead before the hour mark.

But Ellis Simms, a deflected Callum O'Hare strike and Haji Wright's stoppage-time penalty forced extra-time.

Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

The result has set up a date with neighbours Man City on May 25, a repeat of last year's final which Pep Guardiola's side won 2-1. And United supporters are already fearing the worst when they meet again.

One posted on social media: "Off to Wembley for a terrifying date with City." Another wrote: "Glad to see United haven't bottled it today, but not looking forward to losing to City in another final."

"City vs United again, we're gonna lose again anyway so what's the point of this game," argued a third, while a fourth joked: "Man United it's not too late to lose so we don't have to face City and get 7-0 on our heads."

A fifth claimed: "No point winning this game and still going to lose to Man City, because this Man United can't beat City, not with this kind of performance."

And a sixth fumed: "Some people have faith to beat Manchester City with this team, they can't even defend against Coventry, absolute clowns." United looked to be cruising after McTominay turned home Diogo Dalot's cross and Harry Maguire headed in Bruno Fernandes cross in first-half stoppage time to double the lead.

Fernandes added a third shortly before the hour mark, which seemed to be the game won. But as has often been the case this season, United failed to see the game out comfortable.

Simms grabbed one back after being set up by Fabio Tavares, before O'Hare's effort took a cruel deflection off Aaron Wan-Bissaka and floated into Andre Onana's net.

Coventry thought they'd completed the almighty comeback after Victor Torp scored in the 121st minute but the goal was disallowed for offside as the game went to penalties as it was United who came out with Rasmus Hojlund scoring the winning spot-kick to book a second consecutive Manchester Derby FA Cup final.
