The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirms the arrest of the notable lifestyle influencer, Bobrisky while revealing their reasons for the action.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, reports suggested that Bobrisky was arrested at his residence in Pinaccle Estate, Lagos on the 3rd of April.
Confirming the arrest, a spokesperson named Dele Oyewale provided exclusive details to Linda Ikeji Blog regarding the reason behind the arrest.
According to him, the crossdresser was detained for currency mutilation and the improper handling of the Naira.
He further revealed that Bobrisky is currently in their facility located in Lagos and will be charged to court soonest.
"He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos State", Oyewale said.
