Arsenal told to sign Joao Felix

Former Arsenal prospect Jay Bothroyd has suggested a player who could make the Gunners better. Bothroyd, who played for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers among other clubs, has said that he would love to see Arsenal sign Atletico Madrid-owned Joao Felix in the summer transfer window, according to HITC. Bothroyd said about Felix on The Optus Sport Football Podcast : "I don't know why he gets a lot of stick. I'll be honest with you, when he came to England and was playing, I really liked him as a player. "He has got speed, he can shoot, he can score from anywhere. I think he's the kind of player that's going to get better as he gets older "I'd love to have him at Arsenal, coming off that left. Because he's got that intelligence, he can see a pass, he can shoot, he can go both ways. I'd love to see him at Arsenal."

Arsenal led Man Utd in race to sign Isak

Arsenal are currently leading Manchester United in the race to sign talented Swedish attacker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United , according to the iPaper via Caught Offside . The Red Devils had previously been linked with the talented forward but it does look like the Gunners have leapfrogged them in the race. Caught Offside carries a report that claims Mikel Arteta has prioritised signing a striker in the summer with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Ivan Toney and Joshua Zirkzee on the list of potential targets. However, Isak has now emerged as a serious option for Arsenal. The report says the Gunners lead Manchester United in the race to sign the striker as Newcastle are wanting to put a ban on any transfers with United as part of their deal to let Director Dan Ashworth move to Old Trafford.

Arsenal ready to pay €100m to sign Gyokeres

According to the most recent reports, Arsenal are reportedly the frontrunners to sign striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP. Gyokeres has been on fire this season, scoring 36 goals and assisting 14 in 39 games. On a per-minute basis, that's a goal or assist every 64 minutes. According to the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã , Arsenal is willing to meet his €100 million release clause, a hefty price tag but potentially justified considering his performances this season.
